The New Ballyoran Studios:
Officially opened on 28 April 2007, Commission's new headquarters in Dundonald occupies the ground floor of a warehouse in Ballyoran Lane. A £350,000 conversion scheme has transformed this space into state of the art suite of studios, production and rehearsal space.
Studio Hire:
We can provide the studios, complete with experienced engineers, at the most competitive rates! As we are a non-profit-making charity of volunteers with studio hire as a 'side-line' to our main activities, and with flexible recording schedules focusing on evenings, booking studio time, even at relatively short notice, can often be no problem. The previous studios have been used by many broadcasters & producers over the years. Please contact us for full details.
The Old Millar Street Studios:
Up until their closure on 30 November 2004, Commission operated from a suite of three studios. Originally built during World War II as a large community air raid shelter, the Millar Street Studios' half-metre (18 inch) thick reinforced concrete walls and roof made it almost fully sound-proof from the outside world. Jack fields provided extreme flexibility in each studio, and using the integrated tie-lines, all 3 were fully interconnectable.
